John Capper and family
If an estimated age of Elizabeth (front row on left) of 17 - 19 is correct - she was born in March 1876 - then the picture dates to about 1893 - 95. Will would then have been between 20 and 22.
The picture was lent to me by my cousin Ruth Vines (nee Casson), who died in 2005.
I think the names in pencil near the top were probably written by her mother Clarice Casson (nee Capper), second daughter of William J. Capper (in the middle at the back). The names in ink were probably written by Ruth.
