Spanien, Portugal
Gibraltar, Andorra

Spain, Portugal
Gibraltar, Andorra
and a few things in France

We were travelling on the Iberian peninsular in the second half of April and in May 2005 with our caravan. From on the road we published on this page smaller (for cost reasons) pictures  and where-we-are maps.

Now weve at last completed our more extensive travel report, but we leave this preliminary report online for interest.

The monastery buildings dating back to 920 AD huddle under the enormous overhanging cliff. The Romanesque cloister with biblically sculptured columns form the highlight in these magical surroundings.

19.4.2005

Zaragoza - Aragon

Die farbige Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar war Höhepunkt unseres Besuches.

The colourful Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar was the highlight of our visit.

Because of a car repair we spent the 28th very relaxed at the Granada camping site and shot anything  available.

Guadix is well known for its houses under the earth. We were impressed by the roominess and pleasant coolness of the one we visited.

In the southern Sierra Nevada we enjoy high mountain scenery and the carpet-filled tourist shops.
